Motel inspection ii

The City of West Sacramento’s Code Enforcement Division, in conjunction with the Building Division and the Fire and Police Departments, have established a Motel Inspection Program where all Motels are inspected on an annual basis. Promoting and ensuring minimum levels of health, safety, security, cleanliness, and comfort is the main goal of the program. With a focus on correction and improvement of Motel conditions instead of punishment, annual results have been found to be a benefit to the guests, the business, and to the community.

The program focuses on all aspects of each Motel, by providing an inspection that covers the Facility & Grounds, the Rooms, the Amenities, the Bookkeeping/Records/Guest Registrar, and any other general concerns. Each Motel is provided an overall summary and score noting deficiencies as well as a colored score noting pass/non-pass of the inspection. Motels with passing scores are exempt until the following year and Motels with non-passing scores must entertain a follow-up inspection upon correction of deficiencies.

After each 酒店/ Motel inspection, an evaluation score will be provided (Green, Yellow, and Red). All Businesses are required to post the evaluation results in a conspicuous location.

Green: Passing score and meets minimum operating and cleanliness standards.

Yellow: Minor violations and exceeds the minimum standards.

红色: Multiple violations observed and did not meet the minimum operating and cleanliness standards. Property will be inspected every 6 months.
